Very pleasant experience with John Robinson. Our inspector Chad was professional, on time, knowledgeable and completed the inspection efficiently and thoroughly. He did a walk through at the end of the inspection and explained all aspects & observations he had during his inspection very well. Our realtor was also impressed with how well the inspection went that he mentioned he will now be recommending Chad to future clients. We received our inspection report the next day, and the report is very thorough, including photos of all observations and recommendations made.

I have referred John Robinson out to many clients. John has done an amazing job of building a top notch team from Jade, who runs the office, to the inspectors he hires and trains.

My favorite inspector, Matt Rasmussen, goes above and beyond. He shows up on time, is well spoken, patient, easy to understand and extremely knowledgeable. After Matt completes his inspection he will walk you through the home and point out the items he found. If you are unable to attend the inspection Matt will call to provide you details of issue or you can call him. Matt is always available to answer questions for you and he is able to explain things to those both knowledgeable in construction/home repairs and those who are first time home buyers with little to no knowledge construction/home repairs.

The inspections are extremely thorough that include photos, scope of work for each section of the report, severity of issues. They use infrared to check moisture and will also include videos of issues when relevant. The reports are next day but sometimes even the same day as the inspections. The reports can range in length, 70 to 110+ pages depending on number of issues) and are extremely thorough. The web interface they use for sharing their reports is excellent.

I can't tell you how many times I have seen inspections provided by sellers that were very limited however to an untrained buyer they think they don't need to do their own inspections and sometimes their agents either don't recommend they do so or don't explain the lack of completeness of the sellers inspections. My buyers have never been anything but grateful for using John Robinson. Their inspections are night and day above many other inspections companies. If you are a buyer, this is most likely the most money you will spend on any one purchase in your life, getting a thorough report so you can know the true condition of the home is well worth it. I have saved my clients $1000's sometimes $10,000's in credits based off inspections from John Robinson's team!

For sellers, using John Robinsons thorough inspections can also be a benefit. If you provide a thorough report and have the buyers sign it with any purchase agreement then it can help you avoid buyers later finding issues and wanting credit or repairs for them.

I had the pleasure of having Matt Rasmussen as my inspector for our home purchase. He showed up early, was cordial, well spoken, knowledgeable and thorough. I work in construction management with many inspectors so I'm not afraid to get into the details. Matt let me follow him around and I asked about what he was looking for during his inspection. He offered me the appropriate amount of information about each item he was looking for, answers I would expect a professional inspector to give.

The 72 page inspection report was thorough, full of photos and explanations of each condition, severity and the requirements. The report was also available online in a very intuitive web application, something I didn't expect but was very appreciated.

I cannot give enough compliments to the company or to Matt, you would be a fool to go with another inspector. They are worth every penny.

Chad was absolutely amazing! We are buying a rental property in Vista and he completed our inspection. He was extremely thorough and explained every single detail of each step of the inspection. In the end, he reviewed all the items with us on his laptop with pictures. What I liked most was that he was very nice and polite and also answered all of our questions with enthusiasm. You can tell he really loves his job. Also the price was very reasonable.

Our inspector, Natasha, showed up on time and explained the process to us. She offered to let us tag along if we wanted (we declined). After she was done, we were amazed at how detail-oriented she was in the process. She left nothing out. She was amazing. And she had our report to us within hours!
