Be prepared for a very lengthy, comprehensive electronic report. My goodness - I don't think Chris, our inspector, missed anything while there. He was very knowledgeable, informative, and more than willing to answer any questions - during the inspection and after. Including big ticket items, he even picked up on the tiniest details we never would have thought of looking for. His explanations of what he was going to look for made perfect sense. His report noted a few 'serious problems' with the house we were purchasing, which we were able to pass on to the sellers. I would not hesitate to use this company again. Chris is a top notch inspector for John Robinson's Inspection. Thank you for your detailed service and commitment to your customers.

The folks at John Robinson's Inspection Group are definitely top notch. From answering the phones thru delivery of the report, I didn't once hear a single unfriendly voice. And when the winter rains flooded out our inspection day (literally, the roads were all closed an hour before our scheduled time) they didn't penalize us for cancelling at the last minute and were only too helpful in rescheduling as quickly as possible.

Andrew was our inspector and he was incredibly thorough and didn't mind at all talking me through all of the things he was looking at/for. His technical knowledge of the many things they examine is backed by years of field service and his ability to explain the how's and why's of what he was examining at a layperson's level made the whole experience a lot less intimidating.

I had prided myself with having a critical eye with at least a little knowledge from previous experince in contracting, but Andrew definitely opened my eyes to things that I never otherwise would have seen. Once the inspection was done, he went over all the photos and recapped what we talked about during the walkthru and when asked also had plenty of suggestions for how to approach repairs and/or get second opinions if I felt the need.

Overall the experience was great and left me feeling much more tuned into the details of the home we are buying. I feel like I got a lot more out of being at the inspection than if I were relying only on the printed report. The only suggestion I might offer is to some how squeeze a little more resolution out of the photos. The images in the PDF report were often a little low-res and if I hadn't been there I would struggle with knowing what was being detailed.

Beyond that, 5-star no question.

I wanted to give a five star review to Randy Ahmann. He performed a home inspection for my buyer this morning and he was so polite, respectful and patient. The inspection was very clean and Randy still spent a lot of time going over his findings and explaining things in layman's terms. As an agent, you see a wide breadth of inspectors and Randy really stood out. I will seek him out for future inspections.

We're in the process of buying a home and upon recommendation from our agent we hired John Robinson's Inspection Group to do the home inspection. Chad was our home inspector and he did a great job. He was super friendly, explained everything in detail during the walk-through, and the home inspection report turned out great.
This was a much better home inspection experience than what we've had when we purchased our first home.
As part of the inspection we also had a sewer line scope done and they sub-contracted with CSR Plumbing to do that. We've hired CRS Plumbing in the past and had a great experience with them, so that was another plus.

This review is for Randy. He did an excellent job inspecting our new home. Very detailed and professional. What compelled me to write the review was that we had a truss repaired in the attic and I was concerned about the workmanship. He came back to the house on his free time and went to the attic and confirmed their work. Above and beyond customer service. Highly recommend the company and requesting Randall.
